I will use flipchart paper to record information and learning more. It acted as a good visual refresher as to what we had covered. Learning a subject which is not the day-to-day subject to train, the flipchart notes were more useful to me than if the delivery was very PowerPoint based.

I have learnt from the trainer, and he has given me some knowledge into challenging behaviour that i did not have. Self protection is what i have learnt today and in depth ways in which you can handle and manage challenging behaviour.

I will use different terms when writing about incidents. I will feel more confident when dealing with levels of challenging behaviour. I will definitely be asking for an occupational therapist to be part of LDs team of care.

The course reiterated the safety features we have in place. For officers who visit tenants homes the PVP issue was discussed and it was noted that a code could be added 1-5 to establish the type of PVP issue.
