Fran's Fun Fitness
Many NAPPI trainers will not deliver physical intervention training for weeks or even months, so it will be easy to lose fitness levels. NAPPI Trainer Fran McGill is also a qualified Personal Trainer and delivers a range of keep fit classes. However, Fran recognises that not everyone wants to join a traditional fitness class, but she wants to support other NAPPI trainers to keep themselves fit to be ready for the time when they can return to training.
Fran’s Fun Fitness will provide a light-hearted approach to exercise within a Caring Community alongside other trainers. It will be Productive through gaining fitness and whilst it might not be totally relaxing, it will be High Quality Fun! This session ticks the three areas of the NAPPI Green Behaviour Scale, which in turn links directly to the NHS five steps to wellbeing. The evidence suggests you can take these 5 steps to improve your mental health and wellbeing e.g.
- Keep Learning
- Be Active
- Give to Others
- Take Notice
Exclusive (and free for) NAPPI Trainers, Fran's fitness sessions will last 45 minutes and cover:
- Welcome and Warmup
- Fun Fitness with circuits based around stretch and flex e.g. squats, toe reaches, calf raises and side bends
- Hang about and chat
Registration is required as places are limited. The following dates are available:
