Moving & Handling

It is a mandatory requirement that employers provide appropriate training for staff to do their job safely, hence any employee whose job role involves moving and handling should be trained. This helps Keep staff and therefore service users - SAFE!

Level 1 - National Award in Manual Handling Techniques

This Award enables learners to develp an understanding of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992. Learners will appreciate the consequences of poor manual handling techniques, and will be able to demonstrate how to plan and use safe lifting techniques.

Level 2 - Certificate in Moving & Handling

The ASET Level 2 Certificate in Moving and Handling will develop a learner's awareness of relevant legislation and procedures that have an impact on health and safety responsivilities in the workplace.
